Ridley Grifn Rival AXS gravel bike
Product Details
Description
The Grifn is made to pedal hard and continuously, while creating memories and discovering new ways. It's made to go one step further. Ridley has combined the speed of a pure race road bike with the comfort of a gravel bike to create the Grifn.
With a picture of 990 grams (without painting, in medium size), the Grifn is a fast and comfortable road bike ready to go to dirt roads with its maximum soothing for 38 mm tubulars. There is even the possibility of using 40 mm tubulars if a 1x transmission is mounted, or of adding mudguards and lights driven by a dynamo, which allows to use the Grifn in different conditions: it is suitable for road and roads, as well as for city trips and long distance tours.
The surface on which you pedal will no longer be a limitation. The Grifn is the perfect combination for cyclists who do not want to have to choose between road and gravel. Whether you are looking for a gravel bike to explore rural roads and enjoy the most picturesque and car-free roads, as if you want to occasionally remove your road bike from the most handy roads to break the habit, the Grifn is the right bike for it. With the Grifn, Ridley breaks with the N+1 rule owned by bicycles.
The name Grifn refers to the mythological beast, a fable animal with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. This hybrid creature symbolizes dominion over two kingdoms: the earth and the sky. Thanks to the versatility of this bicycle, the Grifn de Ridley is also able to master two areas: road and gravel. With the Grifn, you will dominate both asphalt and dirt roads.
Since you can go in any direction with the Grifn, this bike can be manufactured both as a road bike and gravel. It is completely customizable to adapt to the wishes of the cyclist. Thus, the Grifn is perfect for road and gravel tours, city trips and long distance adventures.
With a completely new bike design new shapes and a new geometry emerge. The geometry of the Grifn adapts to both the road and the gravel and has been designed following the KOG philosophy of Ridley (Extended Kanzo Geometry). This means that the geometry has been adjusted with precision to obtain the management that best suits the type of route for which the bike is designed. This is reflected in some key geometry values, such as the front tube angle and the lower support drop.
The result is a fast, reactive, stable and balanced off-road bike. The Grifn is a road-oriented gravel bike that is comfortable enough to enjoy long days on rough roads, but also aggressive enough to carry out a major test. She's the perfect partner for resistance tests.
All its features, geometry and the possibility of using both a 1x and 2x transmission make the Grifn an extremely versatile bike that offers you infinite possibilities of use. In essence, Ridley is breaking the N+1 rule owned by bicycles with the Grifn.
